Reckitt Benckiser, Johnson & Johnson, JWT, and Euro RSCG Among Top Winners at First OTC National Advertising Awards

CONTACT: Scott Ehrlich of OTC Perspectives at (770) 559-0702 FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (June 11, 2009) — OTC Perspectives – a new division within the leading pharmaceutical conference and consulting company DTC Perspectives Inc. – has announced the winners of its 2009 OTC National Advertising Awards.


Reckitt Benckiser won the top honors in the Best Branded Integrated Category for its “Mr. Mucus” campaign for Mucinex, and McNeil Consumer Health also came away as a winner, for its notable “Missing” campaign for Zyrtec in the Best Branded Print Category. Neutrogena, with its “Neutrogena Skin ID” campaign, won the Gold Award in the Best Branded TV Category, which was voted on by delegates attending the OTC National earlier this month.

Euro RSCG did the best among agencies, with three total awards while JWT also did exceptionally well with two. Reckitt Benckiser also picked up three awards through its own in-house advertising department.

All winners of OTC National Advertising Awards were announced June 4, 2009, at a celebratory reception at the debut OTC National Conference (June 4-5 in Boston), which drew representatives from throughout the consumer health industry and received rave reviews from those in attendance for its “tremendous content.”
