Pharmacists Still Underutilized Despite Extensive Knowledge

Only approximately 1 in 3 consumers (35%) ask a pharmacist questions regarding an OTC medication, compared to half of those (51%) filling a prescription product. The survey, sponsored by vitamin and supplement brand Nature Made, further revealed that just 1 in 5 visitors to a retail store / pharmacy (23%) inquire about vitamins and supplements.
